From Figma to a Working WordPress Website
Vlad at Pier Electric, an existing iTishniki client, recommended us to 904 Movers. The local moving company wanted customers to be able to request an estimate online. Our website design and web development work gave customers two ways to contact 904 Movers directly from the homepage. They could call the number in the header or fill out the estimate form.
We started in Figma with a dark blue and white layout. In the finished design, the headline and a short description of local and long-distance moving sit over a photograph. A white quote form occupies the right side of the desktop screen. Gold buttons mark the actions visitors can take, while the phone number has its own place in the header for anyone who would rather call.
We built the site on WordPress using Elementor and the Hello theme. The setup also included WPForms, WP SMTP, and Rank Math. We also built the About, Contact, Financing, and moving quote pages, along with a blog. Visitors planning a move can read about moving in Jacksonville or learn how to spot a rogue mover before hiring one.
How Service Pages and City Pages Fit the Local SEO Strategy
Customers comparing local movers can use the Jacksonville page to check whether their move falls within the company’s service area. From there, the packing services, moving labor, and storage pages explain what help is available. That distinction shaped the local SEO strategy: the city pages show where 904 Movers works, while the service pages describe its local moving services in detail.
For someone who already has a moving date, the homepage offers a shorter route. The quote form asks for the origin and destination ZIP codes, the move date, and contact details. An open text field gives the customer room to explain what the move involves. A separate section farther down the page explains what happens next: request an estimate, approve the quote and reserve a date, complete the move, and leave a review.
Moving Company SEO Results in Google Search
As part of the technical SEO work at launch, we submitted the sitemap through Google Search Console to help Google discover pages on the new site. We tracked SEO performance over two consecutive six-month periods. The homepage appeared nearly 24,000 times in organic search results during the later period. It also drew 60% more clicks than in the previous six months, bringing more website traffic to the page where visitors could request a quote.
Search metric | Previous six months | Reporting period |
Organic clicks across the site | 249 | 413 |
Google Search impressions | 21,945 | 63,068 |
Average homepage position | 45.3 | 20.6 |
Impressions for the moving quote page | 834 | 2,285 |
Average position for “movers” | 22.1 | 3.9 |
Impressions for “movers” rose from 44 to 615 as the site’s average position improved from 22.1 to 3.9. The branded query “904 movers” generated 177 clicks during the reporting period, and the site’s average position for that query improved from 1.76 to 1.19. The local search “904 movers jacksonville fl” had an average position of 1.0 and an 18.5% click-through rate.
The moving quote page appeared in Google Search nearly three times as often as it had in the previous six months. Its average position improved from 9.9 to 8.6, giving people planning a move more opportunities to reach the estimate form directly from search.
